Anthony Vaughn Patterson is an interdisciplinary creative artist born in New Orleans, Louisiana, now living in Austin, Texas. He studied Communications and Visual Arts at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His abstractly symbolic body of work is an evolving archive of simple lines, shapes and textures that thematically and compositionally illustrate how he subconsciously expresses and suppresses experiential details along the journey of understanding self, the world, and people. 

Anthony’s intentional creative practice and process is therapeutic. It serves as a beacon of hope and place of refuge, rooted in authentic artistic expression. He navigates and lives life at the intersection of art and well-being. With a discerning eye, strong attention to nuanced context, Anthony Vaughn Patterson produces aesthetically minimalist, earthy textured, iridescent, and distinguished free-form artworks influenced and inspired by nature, architecture, and modes of interpersonal communication.
